Picture Day, Schedule Release & On-Site Registration

Wednesday, August 6

Picture Day - Register for a Time Slot!

All students are asked to sign up for a time to come to the Gale Douglas Field House on Wednesday, August 6, between 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. to have their yearbook photos taken and receive their new high school ID.

Schedule Release

Your schedule for the new school year will be visible in Family Access at about 10:00 a.m. on August 6.

Counselor Open Office Hours

All counselors will have open office hours on Wednesday, August 6, from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. during Registration and Picture Day. This is a great time to get answers to your questions or meet your counselor.

Freshmen Raccoon Family Dinners

All Freshmen are invited to small group Raccoon Family Dinners to learn more about the start of the school year and meet the OHS team that will be by your side these next four years. You are welcome to bring your whole family! These 90-minute meetings are designed to:

Introduce you to Mr. Curtis, your Associate Principal, your Counselor, and OHS upperclassmen.
Learn about the routines and structures at OHS.
Allow you the opportunity to walk your schedule and see your classrooms.

Please sign up for one of the Raccoon Family Dinners with your specific counselor. If you have schedule conflicts, there is an alternate option on Monday, August 25.

Open House Tuesday, August 26

Every family is invited to OHS to see our school, familiarize themselves with the building, meet teachers, and learn about the various clubs and activities available.

2:00-4:00 p.m.: Teacher Meet & Greet

Our teachers will be in their classrooms from 2:00-4:00 p.m. for you to introduce yourself and for a quick visit. Feel free to stop in and check out the room, ask questions, or share any important information with your teacher.

4:00-6:00 p.m.: Open Campus

The building will be open from 4:00-6:00 p.m. for self-guided tours, however, teachers will not be in their rooms. This is more of a chance to just familiarize yourself with the building and to walk your schedule.

Freshmen First Day of School

Tuesday, September 2

7:20 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.

It is not necessary to bring any school materials or supplies.
We will run our normal lunch operations if a student would like to purchase lunch or they can bring their own.

Homecoming September 14-20

Watch for more information once the school year starts!

Homecoming Parade on Friday, September 19 at 5:15 p.m.
Football game at 7:00 p.m.
Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 20 from 8:00-11:00 p.m.
