2025-2026 Athletic Registration

Online athletic registration is completed through your Skyward Family Access account.  To be eligible to participate in a fall sport, the following steps must be completed:

1. Log in to your Skyward Family Access Account
2. Families - Click the Online Forms button on the left, then select Fill Out Form next to the 25-26 Athletics Registration Form.
3. Families - All students participating in OASD athletics must have a current physical form on file. You can upload, email, or drop off a current Physical Clearance Form.
   • Physical exam forms are valid based on these dates:
     • A physical examination taken on or after April 1, 2025, is valid for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 school year.
     • A physical examination taken between April 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025, is only valid for the 2025-26 school year.
     • A physical examination taken before April 1, 2024, is not valid.  A new physical examination is required before your child can participate in athletics.
   • If you would like to confirm whether your child has a current physical form on file, follow these steps in Skyward Family Access:
     • Select your child's account
     • Select the Health Info tab on the left
     • Click the Display Options link near the top, then select the Show Physical Exams link
     • If your child has a physical exam on file, the information will be listed.
     • Important Note - Make sure to check the date of the physical exam on file to ensure it is valid for the 2025-26 school year.
   • During the registration process, you have the opportunity to upload your child's current physical clearance form.  You can also email the form to:
     • OHS students, email OHSAthletics@oasd.org
     • Nature Hill students, email NHIAthletics@oasd.org
     • Silver Lake students, email SLIAthletics@oasd.org
4. Pay the Athletic Fee through your Family Access account.  Athletic fees for 2025-26 are:
   • Oconomowoc High School = $160.00
   • Nature Hill & Silver Lake Intermediate = $85.00
   • Football at OHS, NHI, and SLI requires an additional $60.00 fee.

Students will not be able to participate in their sport until all the requirements listed above are complete.

Random Drug Testing Policy

OASD School Board policy states that district students who choose to exercise the privilege of participating in athletics or co-curricular activities that are defined in the Code of Conduct must agree to participate in the random suspicionless drug testing program. Student participants registering for sports or co-curricular activities will be provided with a consent form. The completion of the consent form by the student participant and, if the student is a minor, his/her parent or guardian(s), constitutes express permission and agreement that the student will submit to random suspicionless drug testing. Signing the consent and adherence to the conditions thereafter shall be a condition for participation in athletics and co-curricular activities.

WIAA Transfer Rule

The WIAA Transfer Rule is in effect for all new to Oconomowoc High School students. If you are a transfer student you will be required to meet with the Athletic Director prior to the sport's season to discuss eligibility.

Non-OASD Student Athletic Registration

A student receiving Home-Based private education may participate in interscholastic athletics in the District, including WIAA-sanctioned interscholastic athletics, on the same basis and to the same extent that the District permits students enrolled in the District to participate.  Please refer to the OASD School Board Policy for Home-Based, Private, or Tribal Schooling for additional information on non-OASD student participation in athletic programs.

Families with a home-based private education student who is eligible to participate in interscholastic athletics should begin the registration process through these steps:

1.  Complete the non-OASD student athletic pre-registration form.  This form gathers information to create a Skyward Family Access account for your family.
2.  Families will receive an email with Skyward login information within a few school days.  Please use this information to log into Skyward Family Access.
3.  Once logged in to Skyward Family Access, click the Online Forms button on the left, then select Fill Out Form next to the 25-26 Athletics Registration Form.
4. Then follow the steps within the form.
5. Families will need to upload, email, or drop off a current Physical Clearance Form.
   • The Physical Clearance Form must be dated after April 1, 2024, to be considered current for the 2025-26 school year.
   • If you would like to confirm whether your child has a current physical form on file, follow these steps in Skyward Family Access:
     • Select your child's account
     • Select the Health Info tab on the left
     • Click the Display Options link near the top, then select the Show Physical Exams link
     • If your child has a physical exam on file, the information will be listed
   • During the registration process, you will have the opportunity to upload your child's current physical clearance form. You can also email it to Athletics@oasd.org.

6. Athletic registration is not complete until all of the steps within Skyward Family Access are complete and all athletic fees have been paid.
